jkrogsgaard on "[Plugin: WordPress Backup to Dropbox] Cannot start (at all) after stopping at 99%"

$

I've used WordPress Backup to Dropbox on a lot of sites, and it has been woking just fine, but I have one (important) site, where the plugin broke in some strange way.

It happened after a backup-cycle, where it went to 99%, and then stopped/never finished (it stayed on 99% for days). I then stopped it manually and after that, I haven't been able to start it again. You can see a video of the problem here: http://cl.ly/2L0d1v433k0p

I've tried to:
Unlink dropbox accont and re-link
Deactivate the plugin, delete plugin data and files, reinstall plugin
Delete logfile
Delete backupfolder in dropbox
Change subfolder in where to store backups
Exclude all but one file (robots.txt)
Update to Wordpress 3.5.2 (from 3.5.1)

Info about my setup:
WordPress Backup to Dropbox version 1.5.5
Wordpress version 3.5.2
PHP version 5.3.19

By the way cron is working fine elsewhere, and I have tried:

<Files "wp-cron.php">
Allow from All
Satisfy Any
</Files>

I really hope you can help...

Hi,

I just installed CyberChimps Free (the theme) on my WP installation. When I activated the theme I got this error:

Fatal error: Cannot redeclare class RW_Meta_Box in /var/www/nvpro_beta2/wp-content/themes/cyberchimps/cyberchimps/inc/meta-box-class.php on line 108

Any help will be appreciated.

Hey
I don't know why this happens - although I never tested it before, it isn't supposed to happen.

When I press the "Screen Options" or "Help" buttons I can see a change in the URL bar (it adds "#screen-options-wrap" or "#contextual-help-wrap") but it doesn't do more than that...
The wierd thing is that it is happening ONLY on the "Page" and "Post" Sections. The "Screen Options" and "Help" works perfect in "Widgets", "Plugins", etc.

I have tried to:
- deactivate all of my plugins.
- Change theme.
- Increasing the memory.

None of this helped...

Help?

I get the error above, but somehow when I check htaccess, the files do not exist. I made sure with my host and they cant see any errors popping up in error log either.

Any help on this?

Before installing the new plugin, I updated all of my old plugins as well as WordPress to the latest version. I then installed WooCommerce DYMO Print from a zip file. I received a successful install message, but when I clicked on the activation link, I received the following error message:

I now cannot access my admin panel at all. Any known fixes?

Hello,
When I try to upload a picture to a post in my blog, the picture uploads fine and shows as you're creating the post, however, when I preview or publish my post, the picture is halved and has horrible black lines going through the picture making it look similar to a barcode. Why is this happening and how can I fix this? Because of this, I have to remove pictures from my posts.

Is it possible for me to upload a print screen of the picture onto here so I can show you all what's happening?
Thanks,

Hi

On a page of my website I'm importing a feed from a wordpress.com blog I run. It used to work perfectly, but it has stopped working.

The page is http://www.zzp-boekhouder.nl/administratiekantoor/blog/ and the error I get is:

HungryFEED can't get feed. Don't be mad at HungryFEED. SimplePie reported: The data could not be converted to UTF-8. You MUST have either the iconv or mbstring extension installed. Upgrading to PHP 5.x (which includes iconv) is highly recommended.

I've checked the following:

  1. inserted the feed url in a browser; it displays correctly
  2. pasted the feed into the hungryfeed shortcode again just to be sure and checked there are no curly quotation marks; the error stays
  3. added force_feed to the shortcode like so: [hungryfeed url="http://zzpboekhouder.wordpress.com/feed/" force_feed="1"]; error stays
  4. added decode_url to the shortcode like so: [hungryfeed url="http://zzpboekhouder.wordpress.com/feed/" force_feed="1" decode_url="0"]; error stays
  5. added xml_dump to the shortcode like so: [hungryfeed url="http://zzpboekhouder.wordpress.com/feed/" force_feed="1" decode_url="0" xml_dump="1"]; error stays

I don't get any xml_dump info on my page or in the source code. This is what's in the source code:

`<!-- BEGIN DEBUG OUTPUT FROM FEED at http://zzpboekhouder.wordpress.com/feed/ -->

<!-- END DEBUG OUTPUT FROM FEED -->`

My server is running PHP 5.3 with iconv support enabled.

I'm also running my site through Cloudflare, but have switched to development mode during debugging.

Is there anything else I can try?

Any help would be very much appreciated.

Thank you

Hi,
Install went fine, then I started configuring the Pie Register Settings ... enabled 'prevent fake emails', allowed 'new registrations to use previous used email', enabled First and Last Name additional fields, and changed the default year to 2013, saved ... an error message appeared at top of Dashboard page:

Warning: stripslashes() expects parameter 1 to be string, array given in /home/smootnet/public_html/protos/sgnet/wp-content/plugins/pie-register/pie-register.php on line 345

Undaunted, I then chose a custom logo from my Media Library, field populates, image appears, Save again ... message on Dashboard goes away! Cool ...

I then go to check login page from a different browser, and a different error message appears:

Warning: getimagesize(http://protos.smoothgrind.net/sgnet/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/sg_logo.png) [function.getimagesize]: failed to open stream: HTTP request failed! HTTP/1.1 503 Service Temporarily Unavailable in /home/smootnet/public_html/protos/sgnet/wp-content/plugins/pie-register/pie-register.php on line 1820

Anyone know how to clean this up? Did a search and found some references to tweaking the php, but 'tis not my forté ... assistance is grandly appreciated (else, no go for this plugin; same thing happens with Register Plus Redux).

Thanks,
Bob

Hello, I was wondering about how to add some padding to the error messages that come up if you don't fill in a required field on checkout. Currently the text inside this error is just a bit too far to the left and get's covered up by the red X like so . Strangely the message asking if you have a coupon has proper padding and doesn't do this. Any help would be greatly appreciated!
