Firstly, I have trawled the forums and tried literally everything I can find. Snooooot working.
I added an extra user, and changed his privileges from Editor to Author and after that I was unable to login. The login page loops everytime I enter the (correct) password.
I have cleared cookies, and cache.
I have disabled plugins.
I have updated WP.
I have reverted to a backed up WP that worked before this change.
I have deleted a plugin to control the visibility of Admin items for that user.
I have attempted to login under my Admin account.
I have deleted that user.
I have changed my admin password in the database.
I have attempted togging in via "wp-admin" and directly via the script (at "wp-login.php").
I have reset my site URL manually.
All of these "solutions" have been recommended on previous forums, however the issue is still not resolved.
I'm really, rather stumped. Thoughts?
