lukesei on "[Plugin: Better WP Security] Suddenly 'error' on every page"

While working on a local version of wordpress, suddenly every page is returning a white page only saying: error

I this happened autonomously while I was working on some CSS.

I have disabled BWPS by simply changing the folder name in the plugins folder which has resolved the error.

I'd love to reactivate BWPS but would like to find out the fix to the error first. Has anybody experiencing similar errors found the cause?
