I'm using an old Theme called RockinBlack 3Col with 0 Widgets.
It is highly customized within the theme files so I am hesitant to update until I have time to reinsert all the customized files into the new files that come with the updates.
Lately when I create a new post I am seeing this message.
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/cnht/public_html/news/wp-admin/includes/post.php on line 342
I have also seen this in the Dashboard near the theme:
Warning: Creating default object from empty value in /home/cnht/public_html/news/wp-admin/includes/theme.php on line 19
I have changed nothing.
I did see a bogus trackback or comment that was in the spam, but not sure how it got there because comments are off. It might have been there from when a comment was accidentally turned on.
I looked at the two files in question and can't see anything inserted... so what to think?
Yes I know I need to update the backend.... but for now, what causes this to happen when nothing has changed?
