Have a 3.8.1 multisite - sub-folder install - test version site setup just like my several active sites. Only have one sub-site setup at present.
Crashes entire site upon activation - network or single site - had to disable by manually editing the database.

Downloaded the plugin from your site, did a code compare on that file - binary equal between downloaded fila and file installed from WP repository.
