DirtyLend on "Posts Duplicating in Database"

I recently set up a wordpress blog to share my pictures with family and friends and it ran fine for about 2 weeks. The last few days however random posts have been duplicating and reduplicating. When i logged in this morning there were 7 of the latest post varying numbers of copies of all the others. Now this isn't just in the DB, this is on my front page. Not acceptable.
Does anyone have some ideas as to how i can go about hunting this down, its not something i can trigger so i can't exactly just cut off one plugin at a time and see if it happens. The duplication seems to be completely random and has me rather flummoxed and frustrated.
