LimeCanvas on "RSS Feed Error: xmlParseEntityRef: no name"

Hi All,

I'm posting this, not as a bug, but as a FYI.

I recently found that one of our client's site feed was producing the following error.

This page contains the following errors:

error on line 8 at column 34: xmlParseEntityRef: no name
Below is a rendering of the page up to the first error.

Tried everything including whitespace fix. Switched to TwentyTen and disabled all plugins. Even reinstalled WordPress 3.8.1

Nothing worked until I found this post:
http://nndung179.wordpress.com/2012/06/27/resolution-to-xmlparseentityref-noname-xml-error/

That lead me to look at the post content.

The last post that the client had published contained a single ampersand & in the content.

I replaced this with "and" and then republished the post.

That fixed the feed.

I then went back in to replicate the issue for this forum post and replaced "and" with "&" and republished. The feed is still OK so I don't know what went wrong.

Looks like something, somewhere, either in the post save or the XML parser, didn't encode the ampersand in the last post correctly.

Hope this helps if anyone else comes across this issue.

Cheerz,
Wil.
