I just updated my client wordpress site to the latest version 3.9 but had trouble loggin in the backend(wp-admin). The odd thing is there was not username/password error but the page was not redirecting to the dashboard. But that was with Google Chrome Version 34.0.1847.116 m. I tried lo login on Firefox 27.0.1 however and it worked, logged in. So I thought it probably might be a cookie issue.
I googled and found that It can be solved by doing a fresh new installation. So I downloaded a the new version of WordPress and replaced wp-login.php and tried to login with Chrome and it worked, I managed to login.
But my client is still complaining that He can't login, I guess I have to go with the fresh installation.
How else do I sort this out, anyone?
