wpmhweb on "Help needed moving to a new host but with a clean database"

Hello,

I am trying to move my site to another web hosting company, but I want to make the migrations as clean as possible.

I don't mind reinstalling the plugins again.

So I tried making a clean installation of WordPress, I copied the wp-content folder, but the problem is that I want a database as clean as possible. So I used the export/import feature in WordPress, but i doesn't attach images to posts in Media Library when I import the XML file (I also tried splitting the file). Then I also tried to download all the posts first, then pages, etc. and do it by parts, but when I do this images will not even appear in the Media Library.

Now because importing isn't working fully, I thought on a different way to do things, but I want to get some opinions from people that know more than I do. How about installing a new copy of WordPress, upload the wp-config, and then instead of backing every table in the database, how about only backing up the wp-commentmeta, wp-comments, wp-postmeta, wp-posts, wp-terms, wp_terms_relationships, and wp_term_taxonomy. Then simply restore this backup overwriting the content on the new database, and conclude by configuring the plugins again.

Will this be a solution?

Also how about installing a new copy of WordPress, upload the wp-config, use the import feature in WordPress then because images in the Media Library appear unattached, I simply backup the wp_postmeta table and restore it to the new database, because it has the attachments information?

Will this be a solution?

I hope somebody can help,
Thanks,
