I was in the process of trying to change the theme for my organisation's website, however, when installing the Pilcrow theme, it suddenly came up with a white screen with only the following error message:
Fatal error: Call to undefined function get_background_color() in /home/ecdo_admin/ecdo-bd.org/wordpress/wp-content/themes/pilcrow/functions.php on line 74
I now cannot access my website from the back-end, which makes it impossible for me to manipulate code, etc.
I'm not a tech-savvy person, so i am quite confused by all the suggestions I have read thus far (log in via FTP, uninstall and reinstall wordpress etc).
Can somebody please tell me what this error means and how I can fix it? My work colleagues are getting worried that we have lost the entire website.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
